Let’s Get Painting Giveaway

DSC_0391 This last fall I was on a roll getting the house painted…and then the holidays came.  Now that January is finally here…I have full motivation to get the rest of the house painted and finished!  Painting can be a daunting task, especially if you are giving it a try for the first time.  But with the right supplies (and in my case, a very helpful and eager mother) painting those boring bare walls can be done in a few hours.DSC_0227This time around I tried a new painting tool: ScotchBlue Painter’s Tape with Edge-Lock Paint Line Protector.  For lazy and careless painters like myself, taking the time to prep with tape saves a whole lot of scrubbing…I am known to splash paint everywhere!

Here is our bedroom before:DSC_0196I found that the tape stuck the best on our window.  It went on easily and allowed me to get right up close with my paint roller without having to worry about accidently painting the window.  DSC_0368 Prep…paint…chit-chat…dry…3M Review Painting Bedroom Two coats of paint later…a new fresh color…a very chic one I might add…and all before lunch…DSC_0392 Other great uses for ScothBlue Painter’s Tape with Edge-Lock Paint Line Protector:

-Labeling items with chalkboard paint: Tape off a square and paint with chalkboard paint.  Pull tape off for a perfect square chalkboard label

-Painting stripes

-Masking small painting projects like mirrors or frames

Thanks to the generous team at ScotchBlue I am giving away a roll of ScotchBlue Painter’s Tape with Edge-Lock Paint Line Protector to 16 lucky readers.  All you have to do is comment below sharing how you would use your roll of tape.

Winners will be contacted via email {which means make sure to leave an email address if it is not easily accessible via your blog!}.

I would use the tape to tape off my laundry room and finish painting the walls I started 2 years ago when my new washer/dryer were delivered. I painted behind the appliances but never completed the room. Great motivation! :D

Your room is beautiful, & I love the new color.

I would use the painters tape to repaint my son's room. He's turning 4, so we need to "upgrade" his room a bit more, & what a better way to do it, then with paint.

Love your blog. Check it weekly. I just moved into a new house and most of it still needs paint. I would also use it for painting some furniture projects I have in the basement and some chalkboard projects that are also sitting in the basement just waiting for some creativity.

like you, I have beige walls. I would love to use it on 2 accent walls on our living/dinning room to make the house more inviting...and finally our bedroom. I think doing one wall with stripes would be cool there.

I would so use the tape to finally paint my husband's office. It is the last room to be painted in our house and needs it bad.

I would use my roll of tape to help paint our dining room ceiling. Not very glamorous, but we had a small radiator leak that dripped water. After that my painting projects would be limitless!
